The 5^th edition of the Italian Tourist Board Travel Writing Awards (UK) ceremony will take place on 21 February 2012 at the Vanilla Club in London.

An established annual event now eagerly awaited by the British tourism press. The Awards this year will have a broader category to include articles on Italy which have appeared on travel or lifestyle websites, as recognition of the changes taking place in the journalism field, as well as the contribution given by more and more websites in promoting the tourism industry.

The other categories will include travel articles published in magazines and newspapers (also online version), travel photography as part of a travel article and travel guides (including podcasts and apps), plus a special award given to the publication for number and quality of travel articles on Italy published between 1 January and 31 December 2011.
