PRESS RELEASE
RENZO ROSSO “DRESSES ITALY” ON THE PENINSULA'S OFFICIAL WEBSITE: “MY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SEVEN INSPIRING ITALIAN LOCATIONS.”
THE ENTREPRENEUR STARS IN ENIT'S #LIVEITALIAN CAMPAIGN TOGETHER WITH OTHER INTERNATIONAL OPINION LEADERS
“The Italian lifestyle is unique, and inspires every day.” As in the creative process of fashion design, entrepreneur Renzo Rosso interprets and defines Italian style and the “Italian experience” in the #Liveitalian campaign launched by ENIT - Italian National Tourist Board to promote the Bel Paese internationally.
The designer lists his seven top inspiring destinations in Italy for the official Italia.it website.
Rosso’s top arts and culture spots are the Rialto Bridge in Venice, the Vatican Museums in Rome and the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento.
Capri, Cortina and Venice are perfectly matched to centre the artist's emotionality.
First of all, the island of love with its “inimitable character”: with its people and its turquoise sea, it is one of the most charming islands in the world. Italian culture and temperament give it that something extra. I am very attached to this island.” Cortina and its mountains, on the other hand, are “the most fascinating location in the Alps” for Rosso. “There is no place more spectacular than the Dolomites, which is also why I decided to buy and renovate a historic place in the village like the Hotel Ancora, restoring life and splendour to it.” Finally, Venice, where “everything tastes different: you can still breathe the air, the craftsmanship, the language, the traditions of the past.”
Moving on to the active volcano of Stromboli, it is there that you have “one of those experiences that stays with you forever,” says Rosso. Italian landscapes lend themselves to being appreciated in every season, but nothing - according to Rosso - is as refreshing as spending time in the hills of Marostica in the Veneto region of Italy, where Diesel Farm is located and where the creative man alternates between fashion and the production of organic olive oil, wine and grappa. “It is a unique place, rich in flavours and ancient traditions,” Rosso says.
