THE NEW ENIT IS THE WORLD’S BEST NATIONAL TOURISM BOARD
WINNER OF THE PRESTIGIOUS ASPIRE AWARDS ACCOLADE IN THE UK
ENIT has won the prestigious Luxury Tourism Board of the Year accolade at the Travel Weekly Aspire Awards in London, demonstrating that the UK is impressed with the new approach adopted by the Italian National Tourist Board. The award was collected by Flavio Zappacosta, ENIT country manager for the UK and Eire.
Aspire is the leading trade magazine for the luxury travel sector. The Aspire Awards, an eagerly anticipated showcase on the travel scene, won last year by New Zealand, were created in 2019 to honour the top tourist boards, tourism agents, operates and stakeholders with a decisive impact in the field of luxury travel. Every year, the awards go to those who excel in the promotion of high-end tourism.
“Italy is a benchmark for travellers from the UK, who occupy one of the top positions in the ranking of foreign tourists wishing to holiday in our country, driven by our cultural attractions, beaches and the opportunity to practise sport during their holiday. We will be seeking to strengthen the luxury tourism offer. In this sense, our operating office in the UK and Eire market reinforces the position of Italy’s outstanding assets,” commented ENIT CEO Ivana Jelinic.
