Liguria at Vakantiebeurs 2026: From Flemish Art to the Mediterranean, a Jour-ney Uniting the Netherlands and the Italian Riviera

Liguria arrives in Utrecht with a story that speaks directly to the Dutch public, weaving together tourism, landscape and culture along a path that leads naturally from Northern Europe to the Medi-terranean. From 8 to 11 January, the region will be present with an institutional stand created in col-laboration with ENIT, showcasing a destination to be enjoyed all year round, amidst the sea, historic villages and the hinterland.

Regione Marche will take part in the Vakantiebeurs trade fair in Utrecht (8–11 January 2026), a fair dedicated to leisure, active and outdoor tourism. The goal is to promote the Marche as a diverse, multifaceted region, offering visitors everything that makes Italy famous around the world: sea and mountains, historic villages, cities of art, wellbeing, sustainable tourism and an outstanding food-and-wine heritage.

Piedmont at “Vakantierbeurs” Utrecht – the fair dedicated to outdoor tourism and leisure

From 8 to 11 January, Piedmont launches its 2026 international tourism promotion campaign targeting foreign markets with its participation in Vakantiebeurs, the Netherlands' premier trade fair for tourism and leisure, held at the Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs Exhibition & Convention Center.While snow and winter sports traditionally take centre stage at this time of year, both in sporting activities and leisure, the event represents a key moment for the Vakantiebeurs audience as they choose destinations for their upcoming trips in the warmer months. Visitors from the Benelux region, who are particularly drawn to open-air holidays, cycling and hiking, will have the opportunity to discover the full breadth of Piedmont’s tourism offering at the PIEMONTE Stand (Hall 8 – Stand C056) in the ENIT Italia Pavilion. Here, they will be welcomed by Visit Piemonte and the Local Tourist Agencies (ATL) of the Cuneo area, Langhe Monferrato Roero and Turin and its surrounding region.
