Press Day

ENIT Press Day: Italy takes centre stage in international media

ENIT Press Days are events dedicated to meeting and engaging with media representatives in key international markets. Organised by ENIT’s overseas offices, they provide an opportunity to meet journalists, media professionals and content creators directly, develop new relationships and strengthen existing ties with editorial teams and communication professionals.

In a professional yet informal setting, ENIT presents Destination Italy, highlighting its tourism offering, latest developments, trends and key editorial opportunities. Depending on the market, the meetings may focus on Italy as a whole or explore specific themes, such as culture, design, outdoor activities, lesser-known destinations and new proposals for upcoming seasons.

The formats are adapted to the characteristics of each country: Italian-style breakfasts, aperitifs, networking sessions and open houses encourage direct interaction and one-to-one meetings with media representatives. Participants are also provided with press kits and background materials, including digital materials accessible via QR code, featuring information, data and content useful for developing new editorial opportunities about Italy.

Hospitality is an integral part of the experience: coffee, breakfasts, aperitifs and Italian gastronomic offerings become an integral part of the event, helping to convey some of the most recognisable values of the Italian lifestyle through the welcoming experience. During Press Days, professional networking and destination storytelling come together in a format designed to strengthen Italy’s visibility and positioning in international markets.

In the second half of 2026, Press Days will involve Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Benelux, Canada and Paris, with events and formats developed by ENIT’s overseas offices according to the specific characteristics of each market.
