In the twelfth stage of the Giro d'Italia 2023, Ilaria sets off from Bra, in the hills of Roero and Langhe, famous for their villages, vineyards, castles, and gastronomic delights. She visits the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, a unique institute in the world dedicated to the knowledge and analysis of food from a scientific, cultural, and economic perspective. She then heads to Alba, in the heart of the Langhe, famous for its truffles and its fine wines, where cycling tourism is gaining increasing popularity. She concludes her stage in Rivoli at the beautiful Castle, the first contemporary art museum in Italy, which hosts important works such as Michelangelo Pistoletto's Venus of the Rags.
