Campania stands as one of Italy’s premier destinations for international travelers, supported by a regional framework that brings together cultural assets, tourism infrastructure, and institutional coordination. The region encompasses some of Italy’s most iconic landscapes – the Amalfi and Sorrento coastlines, the islands of Capri, Ischia, and Procida, as well as a remarkable concentration of UNESCO sites and historic estates, all underpinned by strong investment from both public institutions and private industry.  

The Campania Regional Government, through its Department of Tourism and Digital Transition, exercises a coordinating role, building and sustaining networks among businesses, venues, and industry professionals across the region, with a clear focus on strengthening Campania’s profile on the North American market. Central to this effort is a co-op marketing campaign with American, Delta, and United Airlines, supporting their direct routes between  New York and Naples through the May-October travel season. 

The landscapes of Campania are breathtaking, the architecture storied, and the venues unlike anything else on the wedding and luxury travel circuit. Castel Nuovo in Naples, the Royal Palace in Caserta, Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone in Ravello, the Castle of Limatola in the Sannio area, and the Abbatial Palace of Loreto in Irpinia carry a sense of grandeur and centuries-old romance. A quality no amount of decoration can replicate. 

The wedding and luxury segment represents a strategic priority for Campania’s Regional Government, working alongside venues, operators, and local professionals to make Campania a credible and sought-after choice for high-end international travelers.
